In addition to manually downloading intraday and historical options data and analytics from OptionMetrics, users now have the option to access OptionMetrics data from their Snowflake account to save time and reduce capital expenses of storing data. OptionMetrics regularly updates and maintains its data and analytics on Snowflake, enabling quantitative professionals and researchers to query the most up-to-date OptionMetrics information.
OptionMetrics products currently available on Snowflake include:
- IvyDB US – OptionMetrics flagship historical end-of-day options data for researching and backtesting derivatives trading strategies and evaluating risk
- IvyDB US – Intraday – providing high-quality intraday options data at 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:45 p.m. ET
- IvyDB Europe – European historical end-of-day options dataset and analytics
- IvyDB Asia – Historical end-of-day options dataset and analytics from all major Asia-Pacific exchanges including Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, and Australia
- IvyDB Canada – Canadian historical end-of-day options dataset and analytics
- IvyDB Global Indices – Comprehensive historical end-of-day options data for 30 major indices from exchanges in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific
