New Northern Nevada hub extends the category leader’s temperature-controlled fulfillment network across the West
RENO, NV, UNITED STATES, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Grip, the technology, fulfillment and logistics company revolutionizing the frozen and refrigerated e-commerce space, has opened a 150,000-square-foot facility creating more than 60 jobs in the Reno-Sparks area. The hub is the company’s fifth nationwide and anchors its West Coast operations.
The facility places Grip within one-day ground shipping reach of approximately 60 million people across 11 Western states, including the Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Salt Lake City markets.
“We chose Reno-Sparks for its strategic location, giving us faster access to major markets across the Western U.S.” said Juan C. Meisel, founder and CEO of Grip. “Paired with our technology, it means our customers get faster, more reliable deliveries at a lower cost.”
The new hub joins Grip facilities in New Jersey, Michigan, Texas and Florida. It sits at the junction of Interstate 80 and U.S. Route 395, the primary east-west and north-south freight corridors for the Western United States. For partner brands, the location is intended to reduce transit times, lower freight costs and limit temperature excursions on West Coast routes.
At the center of the operation is Grip’s proprietary, AI-driven order management system. Purpose-built for temperature-controlled products, the platform delivers real-time inventory management and precision order monitoring, giving partner brands the visibility and control to scale without compromising product integrity. This technology backbone has made Grip the category leader in perishable direct-to-consumer logistics.
Grip has shipped more than $3 billion in goods over the past two years and reaches more than 80% of the U.S. in under 24 hours. The company was named the No. 6 fastest-growing company in America and No. 1 in logistics and transportation on the 2025 Inc. 5000.
