Greenhouse Launches the Orchestrated Hiring Ecosystem to Break AI’s Hiring Doom Loop

NEW YORK, Oct. 15, 2026
Instead of adding AI to a broken process, Greenhouse is betting the fix is to bring thousands of employers and millions of job seekers together in one place, and rebuild hiring from there.
NEW YORK, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — AI was supposed to make hiring easier. It has made it worse. Job seekers use AI to fire off hundreds of applications, employers use AI to filter them, and neither side trusts what comes back. In Greenhouse research, four in five job seekers use AI in their search, 86% of U.S. recruiters say at least half of applications are AI-written, and fewer than 7% of applicants ever get an interview.

Greenhouse, whose hiring software is used by thousands of companies, says the problem can’t be solved one tool at a time. Today it introduced the Orchestrated Hiring Ecosystem, which puts sourcing, interviewing, scheduling and the applicant tracking system in one place, alongside the millions of job seekers who have built profiles on MyGreenhouse.
Greenhouse calls this hiring orchestration: every part of hiring connected in one system, so the right person and the right role come together at the right time. The doom loop runs on applications. Orchestration runs on signal: who is real, who is looking now, and why they might be right for the role.
“Hiring still runs on artifacts from the paper era. Resumes are digitized, job ads are online and interviews are over Zoom,” said Daniel Chait, CEO and co-founder of Greenhouse. “Because hiring has to work across a confusing jungle of job sites, resumes and applicant tracking systems, the hiring process has been stuck in the past, unable to evolve for the AI era. By expanding into a complete hiring ecosystem, Greenhouse can orchestrate all of it, from the moment someone is found to the day they’re hired, to deliver entirely new hiring experiences. We want to move past those old, broken processes: biased resume reviews; clumsy, random interviews; and fruitless job searches. The Orchestrated Hiring Ecosystem is how we are rebuilding hiring for the AI era.”
How Greenhouse’s Orchestrated Hiring Ecosystem works:
- A job seeker can mark one application a month as their Dream Job, so recruiters can see the people who want the role most at the top of their list.
- Recruiters find people before they apply. Greenhouse surfaces job seekers who are actively looking and fit the role, right where hiring teams already work. Sourcing in Greenhouse is available to select customers in closed beta.
- Hiring teams know who’s real. Real Talent verifies identity and flags fraud, spam and misrepresentation at the top of the funnel.
- Every candidate can get a conversation. Voice AI gives every applicant a first interview with the same questions and criteria, rather than letting a resume decide who gets one. Hiring teams get full transcripts and explainable evaluations.
- Structured hiring holds it together, and people decide. The ATS, built on more than a decade of structured hiring, connects every step, and people are accountable for every hiring decision.
And the ecosystem stays open: companies can plug in outside tools, and Voice AI works even for employers that don’t use Greenhouse’s ATS.
The Orchestrated Hiring Ecosystem builds on two recent launches. In May 2026 Greenhouse brought Voice AI Interviewing to customers, and in June 2025 it launched Real Talent.
